Host Committee - 2009 CAM Conference: The Host Committee is responsible for hosting and coordinating the off-site programs at the annual conference, including evening events, pre- and post- conference tours and museum visits. Legislative Committee: The Legislative Committee oversees CAM’s legislative efforts, including the work of the lobbyist. Multicultural Initiatives Committee: The goal of the new Multicultural Initiatives Committee is to increase the number of underrepresented communities in museums as paid staff members, namely individuals of Latino/Hispanic, African, Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander descent. The committee oversees initiatives that support this goal.
