CAM Across California 2022

ABOUT CAM ACROSS CALIFORNIA: SHIFTING TERRAINS
We have all experienced countless shifts since March 2020. What do they mean for cultural organizations in California, now and in the future? What steps can we, as museum professionals, take to ensure a better field moving forward? CAM Across California: Shifting Terrains will take place over the course of five mini-conferences in San Diego, the Bay Area, Northern California, the Central Valley, and Los Angeles in Spring 2022. Registration, program schedules, and more details will be announced soon. Please join us for safe, in-person* gatherings to explore our shifting terrains together.

  • March 10–11: San Diego – San Diego Natural History Museum
  • March 24: San Francisco – California Academy of Sciences
  • April 4: Redding – Turtle Bay Exploration Park

 CODE OF CONDUCT
CAM is committed to providing respectful program experiences that are safe, inclusive, and free of harassment. A Code of Conduct sets expectations for all CAM program participants, provides steps to report incidents, and lists possible consequences for would-be violators. CAM does not tolerate harassment or discrimination in any form.

*Safety precautions against COVID-19 will be in place for all in-person gatherings to ensure the health and comfort of all individuals in attendance. These may include, but may not be limited to, requirement of proof of vaccination, negative test result within 72 hours of event, and mandatory face masks while indoors. If in-person gatherings are not possible, we will shift programs to take place online. These decisions will be guided by state and county regulations closer to the time of the program series.
