Associate Director, Communications and Marketing

The Hammer Museum seeks an Associate Director of Communications and Marketing to develop, manage, and maintain an integrated, multi- platform communications and marketing program to promote the Museum's collections, exhibitions, programs, special initiatives, and grow the overall audience attendance and visibility. Responsibilities include overseeing the creation and implementation of all advertising efforts including print and digital advertising campaigns, social media, and email marketing; overseeing the development, production, and distribution of all marketing materials; managing the department marketing budget; and maintaining strategic alliances with media outlets and other cultural institutions for broader reach and greater impact. The ideal candidate will have superb writing and copy-editing skills, balanced with the ability to collect and analyze market research and audience demographics to gauge effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts.

The targeted salary for this position is between the posted minimum to $95K annually.
