The Skirball Cultural Center seeks an inspiring Noah’s Ark and Family Programs Gallery Educator to facilitate school and public programs within Noah’s Ark at the Skirball, the Skirball’s interactive children’s and family destination.

Noah’s Ark and Family Programs Gallery Educators are part of a collaborative team that develops and facilitates participatory programs for families of all types, especially those with young children. These include programs for the award-winning Noah’s Ark at the Skirball and adjacent outdoor amphitheater, Arroyo Garden, and Archaeology Dig. Educators facilitate online and in-person school and family learning through activities such as puppetry, movement, percussion, cooperative games, storytelling, and hands-on art-making activities. Educators also serve as hosts within the gallery, imparting key Noah’s Ark messages, and helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Noah’s Ark and Family Programs Gallery Educators are members of the Education department and report to the Assistant Director of Noah’s Ark and Family Programs. This is a year-round, full-time position with a pay of $22.00 per hour; the schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Noah’s Ark Gallery Educators are required to work one weekend day each week and have flexibility to occasionally work the alternate weekend day as needed.
