Exhibitions Coordinator

The Exhibitions Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the exhibitions team and project managing the Museum’s multifaceted exhibition program in collaboration with the VP of Exhibitions and other program staff.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Asian American Studies, Ethnic Studies or American History preferred. At least five years of professional experience working in a non-profit organization in project management with prior work on exhibitions in a museum. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure while still meeting deadlines. Knowledge of Japanese American history and culture a plus. Experience with MS Office, Google Suite and cloud-based services required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and CAD preferred, and familiarity with TMS beneficial. Will require weekend and some evening hours based upon exhibition schedule.
