The Director of Human Resources serves as a trusted and strategic advisor to senior staff and department leaders, as well as having extensive contact with all other supervisors and staff in general. The Director is a champion of the Autry Museum’s core values, a business partner, and a change agent who drives the museum’s people strategy and essential functions of employee relations and compliance.

The Director possesses high emotional intelligence, thinks holistically and strategically, and brings applicable best practices to the museum. They will model respect and sensitivity for differences and promote the value of a diverse and inclusive environment.

The Director manages and/or oversees all human resources functions, including, but not limited to, recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, and leaves of absence. The Director leads the human resources team, which includes an HR Generalist and HR Coordinator.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
