Education Specialist for K-12 School Communities

The Education Department of the J. Paul Getty Museum has two openings for an Education Specialist for K-12 School Communities, one at the Getty Villa and the other at the Getty Center.  The Education Specialist for K-12 Communities oversees and manages the Museum’s onsite, virtual, and digital K-12 school initiatives and Title 1 bus program.  As a member of the Education and Public Programs Department, the successful candidates will have broad knowledge of K-12 and museum education best practices, curriculum development, and DEAI values, as well as familiarity with educational ecosystems. This position is accountable for administering the Getty’s Arts Access program. The candidate should also have experience creating digital and asynchronous art museum content for a segmented audience. These individuals must demonstrate innovation in virtual and remote learning and help to conceptualize new models for digital learning strategies.

Salary info: $66,868 - $88,604 Annually
