The San Diego Natural History Museum is looking for a passionate mission supporting and natural history loving individual to be our Facility Engineer. The Facility Engineer is primarily responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, HVAC DDC controls, and life safety equipment throughout the building both during regular hours and after hours. This position aids the Facility Manager in handling facility operations and protocols in order to uphold the appropriate standards of the Museum. The Facility Engineer is responsible for managing the overall maintenance of the Museum facilities, including off-site warehouse and Museum owned vehicles, and is accountable for maintaining compliance with hazardous materials and accessibility regulations, reporting compliance under OSHA and other government regulatory agencies.
