One of the nation’s leading university museums BAMPFA is a forum for cultural experiences that transform individuals and advance the local, national, and global discourse on art and film. BAMPFA is seeking a bold visionary to work closely with the Executive Director to change the culture of museums inside and out. This position ensures programmatic convergence and communication across BAMPFA in line with institutional vision and goals and is grounded in serving the public, artists, and the UC Berkeley community. The position of Chief Curator requires a strong curatorial vision with a focus on modern or contemporary art.
