The CFO has a strong commitment to JANM’s mission, is responsible for all financial and accounting matters, including supervising employees and performing financial tracking, reporting, accounting, billing, collections, and budgeting duties. Develops internal control polices and procedures for budget administration, cash management, and accounting. Prepares financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and other reports. Reports to President/CEO, partners with Executive Leadership Team and Finance Committee of BOT to direct business development strategies/ensure sound fiscal policies and proper infrastructure/systems are in place. Able to engage others, modeling cooperation, collaboration, integrity, courtesy, and humility. Embrace diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility principles. Lead by example and promote JANM’s strategic objectives. Finance/Accounting degree, CPA certification desirable and 10 or more years of financial management experience at a nonprofit organization with financial analysis of fundraising campaigns desirable. Extensive experience with accounting software. EOE.
