The Manetti Shrem Museum at UC Davis is seeking a full-time Assistant Curator. Reporting to the Exhibitions Department Head, the position researches and catalogues the permanent collection and joins newly formed inter-departmental team for 3-year project to digitize the collection. The Assistant Curator will be the museum staffer dedicated to the digitization project. The Assistant Curator will have opportunities to curate special and collection-based exhibitions, and support research and production of all exhibitions in collaboration with the Exhibitions Department Head.

Success in the position requires strong written and verbal communication, project management and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys team-based work.

Salary range: $65,100– $116,700 annually (subject to a departmental budgeted maximum salary; commensurate with education and experience)
