Founded in 1987, Quarryhill Botanical Garden is located on a wild 67-acre site in the Sonoma Valley of Northern California. Quarryhill works to advance the conservation, study and cultivation of the flora of Asia, and also interprets the flora of California. Quarryhill is looking for a mission-oriented, strategic leader to provide vision and leadership to the development, documentation, and curation of the botanical garden’s living plant collections. Quarryhill aspires to a standard of living-collections curation equivalent to the best in the public garden world, and as such, a primary goal for this position is to refine QBG’s plant-records and mapping programs, including data bases and user interfaces, to facilitate the further development, maintenance, interpretation, and research use of the Garden’s unique plant collections. Salary range $65k-$70k.
