The museum’s Director of Development is responsible for the design, implementation and management of the museum’s development programs and initiative. The department’s primary strategic goal is to increase annual fundraising income.

The ideal candidate is a non-profit development professional that is collaborative and has experience in grants, sponsorships, and major gifts. Additionally, they should thrive in a deadline-oriented environment along with building and managing strong relationships with staff and volunteers, members, and donors.

The Haggin Museum is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that receives no City, County, State or Federal funding. It opened to the public in 1931 and is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.  The museum’s core collections include 19th and 20th century fine art and regional history.
