Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations

The Hammer Museum seeks a Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations to report to the Chief Development Officer and work closely with the Deputy Director, External Affairs and the Museum Director to design a comprehensive and integrated fundraising program for institutional contributed income sources for the Museum's annual giving programs and special exhibition project funding.
The candidate implements tactics to support an overall strategy to develop and maintain an institutional donor base, managing portfolio of Foundations, Government and Corporate donors and prospects, with an emphasis on six figure grants or sponsorship.
Additionally, the Director, Foundations and Corporate Relations regularly liaises with the curatorial and programming staff for institutional donor cultivation and solicitation. The candidate may also support the Deputy Director, External Affairs on the Museum's Capital Campaign and is expected to attend Museum donor functions and frequent written and oral communication and interaction with all levels of institutional donors and prospects.
