The Coordinator will have experience teaching students and applying standards-based art education practices. B.A. in art history, education, studio art, or related field required. Contemporary crafts knowledge is a plus. Candidate must be a multitasker, resourceful, and flexible. The position involves various additional aspects of museum operations including but not limited to: collections management, library management, and exhibition installation.
Writing lesson plans
Coordinating logistics, scheduling, and communications
Creating hands-on activities
Assisting with event management
Posting social media website content
Assisting with exhibitions
- Part time, entails working some Saturdays
- Local travel
- Requires lifting up to 40 lbs.
Salary commensurate w experience, $15-25 hr.
