Education Programs Associate (Part-Time)

This part-time Education Programs Associate position will support the day-to-day operation and implementation of innovative, high-quality public, school, community, and outreach programs for the California Museum, advancing its mission to educate people about California’s rich history, its diversity, and its unique influence on the world of ideas, innovation, art, and culture.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching formally or informally; coordinating events or programs; and facilitating hands-on education programs. This position works closely with the entire education team on programming for school, family, and general public audiences. An ideal candidate has a passion for history, an enthusiasm for working with children, and a talent to communicate knowledge in an engaging way. Part time, 24-28 hours weekly, starting at $17/hour.
