The Skirball Cultural Center seeks dynamic and creative Part-time School Programs Educator to facilitate school programs within Noah’s Ark, the Skirball’s interactive exhibition for children and families, as well as the Archaeology Dig and other exhibitions indoors and outdoors.

The Part-time School Programs Educator is a part of a collaborative team that teach participatory programs for Pre-K- TK—Grade 12 students and teachers. They will facilitate hands-on activities including puppetry, movement, percussion, cooperative games, storytelling, and art-making. They also help coordinate school programs and support aspects of family programming, indoors and outdoors, as needed.

Reporting to the Head of School and Teacher Programs, this is a year-round, part-time position with pay of $19/hour and a total of 24 hours/week. The schedule is Tue-Fri mornings during the school year. During school breaks, the schedule will shift to include one weekend day. There are also occasional weekday shifts during afternoon public hours and employee trainings.
