Salary TBD based on hours, estimated $30,000 - $60,000 annually

Hybrid on-site/work from home

California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1974 to promote the preservation, restoration, research and publication of early radio and broadcasting history.  With more than 500 members and their generous support CHRS owns its historic building in central Alameda.

Position Description: Come join our team dedicated to our mission. We are seeking our first Executive Director to lead and manage the transition into becoming a public education and accredited museum. Qualified candidates will bring experience in managing volunteers in facility management and to create interactive displays, STEM educational classes, marketing, public relations and museum tours. Candidates will be expected to provide leadership and creative vision and work collaboratively with our team members.
