The Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at the University of California, Davis seeks an Exhibition and Curatorial Coordinator to join a small, nimble contemporary art museum serving a top tier public university. This interim position is an excellent opportunity for emerging museum professionals, or candidates returning to museum work, to gain hands on experience and a holistic view of exhibition development from crafting timelines to managing exhibition graphics. While this position supports the installation of current exhibitions, it will also focus on preparing for an artists’ convening in November 2023 that brings important thinkers and makers focused on Asian American art to Davis for an in-person 3-day conference.

Full time contract appointment for 6 months, remote work is possible and monthly onsite work is required.

$59,300/annually - $112,500/annually - Subject to a department budgeted salary maximum.
Please note that this is a six-month contract position, so salary will be adjusted for that time period.
