Salary Range: $60,000 – $85,000/year

Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning Design and Innovation, the Exhibits Director is responsible for the creative direction and project management of the Aquarium’s permanent and changing exhibit galleries and non-living collections. The position will facilitate collaborative, creative work that draws on the interests and talents of a diverse team of dedicated staff, volunteers, and consultants, embodies the Aquarium's mission and vision, and uses excellent professional practices informed by research and evaluation. Manages the design, evaluation, fabrication, installation and maintenance of exhibits (excluding aquarium tanks), exhibit architecture, object displays, furniture, interactive exhibits, images, interpretive graphics, sound, video and new media, in indoor and outdoor settings, both onsite and at satellite locations.
