Facilities Maintenance Coordinator (Full-Time)

Hourly compensation: $31.3983 - $37.7102 per hour with excellent benefits package* This position is represented by SEIU 1021.

Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of the museum facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs a variety of skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of the facility including painting, carpentry, and flooring repair/maintenance.
• Ensures the regular upkeep of wall surfaces (sheet rock, wallpaper, cinderblock, tile, woodwork, etc.) and flooring (stone, carpet, engineered wood, tile, concrete, vinyl, etc.) in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
• Coordinates with Director to prioritize and schedule maintenance projects.
• Generates and manages weekly task list with guidance from Director.
• Coordinates necessary office modifications and installation of office furniture and equipment.
• Manages warehouse inventory and access.
• Coordinates with outside vendors, regulatory agencies, contractors, etc.
• Assists with addressing facilities safety issues, fixing, reporting up, etc.
