The Catalina Museum of Art & History, located on Catalina Island, seeks an experienced part-time (30 hours per week) Sr. Director of Development professional to lead annual fundraising. CMAH’s annual budget is $1.4 M with a mission to collect, preserve, and promote the culture and history of Santa Catalina Island and to bring unique exhibitions to Catalina. Founded in 1953, the Museum relocated to its current home in 2016 and in 2023 completed a $2M Capital Campaign and construction of a new 1,000 square-foot Education center.

Responsibilities include: Strategize, plan, implement and assess annual fundraising (in FY23 this represented $830k). Work closely with the Executive Director, Board Chair, Development Committee Chair and key staff and stakeholders to strengthen and grow a sustainable, broad-based annual fundraising program. This is a hybrid position at 30 hours/week. While not essential to live on Catalina Island, residence in Southern California is required.

Salary Range: $65-70k depending on experience (annualized at 40 hours a week to $90,000)
