Gallery Facilitator, Visitor Experience (Part-Time, Temporary)

The Skirball Cultural Center seeks dynamic and friendly individuals as part-time, temporary Gallery Facilitators to assist with an interactive art making experience during the exhibition Together for Good: Caron Tabb and the Quilting Corner, from November 17, 2022, to March 12, 2023.

Gallery Facilitators will serve as a welcoming, patient, and helpful presence for visitors who choose to decorate a quilt square to be added to a community quilt. The individual squares will be sewn together by professional quilters and will become a growing artwork during the exhibition.

Gallery Facilitators report to the Director of Visitor Experience. This is part-time, temporary with 18 - 28 hours weekly depending on availability, including weekends and weekdays between the hours of 12:00 to 5:00 pm weekdays and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm weekends. The pay rate is $19 per hour.
