Getty Marrow Emerging Professionals - Repatriation Assistant (Temporary)

This is a temporary full-time, two-year, grant-funded position made possible with support from the Getty Foundation through its Getty Marrow Emerging Professionals Pilot Program.

The Repatriation Assistant, under the supervision and direction of the Associate Curator of Anthropology and Repatriation Supervisor, will assist in preparing for repatriation consultation visits and other related activities, such as collections inventories and data entry, to support the implementation of the Native American and Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The position will assist in the completion of various tasks needed to meet departmental goals as directed by the Associate Curator of Anthropology and Repatriation Supervisor. The Repatriation Assistant will be expected to communicate regularly with the Associate Curator of Anthropology and Repatriation Supervisor so that progress can be monitored and evaluated.
