Reporting to the Director of Institutional Giving and Strategic Initiatives, the Grant Writer is instrumental in meeting YBCA’s annual contributed revenue goals, with a focus on administering YBCA’s grant awards, reporting to institutional funders, and raising funds through foundation, government, and corporate foundation grants. As a key member of YBCA’s Strategy and Revenue team, the Grant Writer is passionate about the mission of YBCA and its programs, and can effectively communicate the pivotal role art, creativity, and civic engagement play in catalyzing change. Assuming the administrative tasks for Institutional Giving, the ideal candidate is also an exceptional storyteller with a keen editorial eye for detail; is self-directed while managing multiple projects and deadlines; and thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment.
