Reporting to the Director of Exhibitions the Graphic Designer will develop exhibition identities and style guides, and produce and install exhibition info-graphics and didactic materials for 8-10 exhibitions per year. The incumbent will collaborate with the Director of Publications on exhibition graphic identities that may be used in Fowler Publications. The incumbent will work with clients from other departments including Communications, Education, Exhibition Project Management, Digital Media, Development, and others to design newsletters, invitations, web graphics, brochures, banners, and other online and print media. The designer may produce exhibition prints for four photography exhibitions per year, often working closely with artists and curators to produce match prints and determine presentation solutions and to coordinate framing. The Graphic Designer must be flexible and open to feedback and produce quality work under the pressures of deadlines and competing priorities and work closely with outside vendors to produce additional exhibition graphics.
