The Manager of Volunteer Programs manages day to day operations of the Huntington's volunteer program including supervision, recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluation of over 1200 volunteers. Maintain and update the all-volunteer database, Lead applicant information sessions, as well as conduct applicant interviews and coordinate the placement, onboarding, and training of volunteers and docents, collaborate on development of docent assignments and training curriculum; Work with program managers and curators to develop appropriate content training programs to match upcoming exhibition schedules, programming needs and ensures they align with the institution’s, actively manage volunteers during large-scale events, and more.

  • Ability to work well with people of all backgrounds and age groups.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing large corps of volunteers required.
  • Significant experience developing, managing and delivering education and interpretative programs.

Pay Range: $65k- $70k annually, negotiable and commensurate on experience.
