Title: Museum Curator of History
San Bernardino County is recruiting for a Museum Curator of History, who is responsible for collecting, recording, promoting, and interpreting the history of the County. This position will also facilitate and assist in the development of educational programming and exhibits, train volunteers and seasonal workers, and assist in grant proposals and records.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: A completed Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in History, Historic Preservation, Historic Architecture, Museum Studies, American History or comparable field.
And
Experience Option 1: One (1) year of historic curation experience, including collection management, interpretive programming, and supervision of professional, technical, or volunteer staff.
Experience Option 2: Two (2) years of professional experience with history as a researcher, lecturer, and/or preparing exhibits, including public interaction. For more details, please review the announcement. Apply ASAP – open until 3/1/24 at 5 PM.
Salary: $55,369.60 - $79,955.20 Annually - Full-Time
