Chico History Museum
Chico History Museum seeks a dynamic and responsible person with an interest in the history of the Chico area. The Museum Manager is responsible for the general operation of Chico History Museum, a local non-profit organization. The successful candidate will represent the Museum to its patrons and community partners and foster relationships with members, donors, contributors, and volunteers. The Manager will advocate for Museum’s interest in the community and seek opportunities to support its vibrancy. The Manager will strengthen educational programs to reach children and adults in Chico, its surrounding communities, and beyond. The Manager will ensure that the historic facility is adequately maintained and will perform other administrative tasks as assigned. The position is part-time with an average of 25 hours per week, under the supervision of the Board of Directors.
