Metadata Assistant (Part-Time)

The Metadata Assistant is a part-time grant-funded position made possible under the California State Library’s LGBTQ+ Preservation and Accessibility grant. The Metadata Assistant will be responsible for creating new and enhancing new metadata records for the California Gay Rodeo archival material held at the Autry Museum of the American West. The records to be created will follow a prescribed descriptive metadata profile into MIMSY XG, the Autry’s internal collections management system. The Metadata Assistant will also be asked to create and update catalog records in Archives Space (ASpace) and OCLC WorldCat.

Pay: $20.00/hour
