The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to provide administrative and logistical support to the Public Programs department. Reporting to the Senior Education Specialist, the Public Programs Coordinator is located at the Villa and supports public program activities at both the Getty Villa and Getty Center. Under moderate supervision, this position assists in all aspects of public programming including scheduling, facilitation, and coordination while also providing administrative support.  This includes coordinating on-site, virtual, and hybrid educational programs for adult audiences that are designed around the Getty’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, with a primary focus on ancient Mediterranean cultures.  Some evening and weekend work is required.

Targeted Hiring Range $22.80 - $27.93 Hourly
