Full Salary Range: $83,100 - $169,500/yr. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University.

Department Profile: The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) is a Federal law enacted to resolve and restore the rights of Native American lineal descendants and tribes to human remains and cultural items. UCSB is working with local Tribes to return claimed human remains and cultural items.

Summary Of Job Duties
Under the general supervision of UCSB's Chancellor's Designee on repatriation, the NAGPRA Repatriation Coordinator serves as the campus's designated authority under the University of California Policy and Procedures on Curation and Repatriation of Human Remains and Cultural Items.
