Full Job Description

Habitot's MANAGING DIRECTOR is a senior member of the leadership team with primary responsibility for ensuring the successful implementation of all public-facing and grant-funded programs for young children and families which include both mobile and virtual programs. Working remotely at present, with some in-person meetings and community events, the Managing Director maintains staff cohesion, recruits, trains, and supervises program staff, conducts performance reviews, and ensures program evaluation and continual improvement. In addition to contributing to strategy on marketing, new exhibits, and new program development, the Managing Director fulfills a variety of essential administrative tasks. The Managing Director works closely with the Executive Director, fundraising and marketing staff. This position is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried position with weekend and evening hours on occasion.
