Job Summary
The Education and Public Programs Department of the J. Paul Getty Museum seeks a Resource Project Manager to support the department’s technology projects (virtual, digital) and other initiatives.  The Resource Project Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the department’s digital project portfolio, liaising among stakeholder departments, tracking project progress, and ensuring digital projects align with best practices in the digital field, and reflect Getty standards for excellence. Additionally, the Resource Project Manager will oversee select mission-aligned projects to ensure the Education and Public Programs department is fulfilling its remit with key initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a background in project management, an awareness of digital project workflow, and should be data driven, detail oriented, and user experience minded.  Experience developing visual arts online resources is an asset. Under moderate supervision, the Resource Project Manager reports to the Assistant Director for Education and Public Programs, and works closely with the colleagues in Education, Public Programs, and Interpretive Content.
