School Programs Coordinator

Skirball Cultural Center

Los Angeles, California

The Skirball Cultural Center seeks a School Programs Coordinator to join our Education and Visitor Experience team. Since opening to the public in 1996, the Skirball has established itself as one of the world's most dynamic Jewish cultural institutions and among the leading cultural venues in Los Angeles. It includes a world-class museum that holds a collection of objects representing 4,000 years of American Jewish life; is home to the popular and highly acclaimed children’s and family destination Noah’s Ark at the Skirball™; and regularly presents a range of engaging changing exhibitions. The Skirball also serves as a gathering place, hosting hundreds of public and private events each year. Furthermore, as a center for learning, we offer an array of opportunities for learners of all ages, including tours, classes, workshop series, and live performances. A leader in arts education, we partner with Pre-K–Grade 12 educators to engage students through programs on site and in the community.

The School Programs Coordinator serves as a liaison for teachers and school administrators, coordinates all Pre-K–Grade 12 school programs, and supports virtual and on-site field trips. Reporting to the Head of School and Teacher Programs, this is a year‐round, full‐time position; the schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm. The schedule may include select weekend days, as needed.
