School & Teacher Program Coordinator:

 The Crocker Art Museum is dedicated to promoting an awareness of and enthusiasm for human experience through art. We measure our success by our ability to enrich the intellectual and cultural life of the communities we serve. This position helps fulfill this by developing, planning, and implementing a dynamic schedule of educational programs for K-12 schools and teachers that align not only with the Museum's mission and goals but also with California State Content Standards.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and conducting age-appropriate interdisciplinary arts education programs designed to encourage pre-K-12 students and educators to appreciate and understand art and its impact on culture through object-based learning.
  • Designing and delivering engaging hands-on art classes and curriculum-based tours and workshops related to the Crocker’s collections and exhibitions for PreK-12 students and/or teachers.

Hiring Range:  $23.00 to $25.50 an hour.
