This position actively identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of foundation and government prospects that have the capacity to give $50,000 or more, including preeminent Bay Area and national foundations. The position may also manage a small number of corporate and family foundation prospects. To meet annual fundraising targets, the Senior Grants Officer works in close collaboration with BAMPFA's curatorial, program, finance, and development teams to develop compelling opportunities for philanthropic partnership and impact. This position serves as the primary liaison between BAMPFA and the university's Sponsored Projects Office (SPO), and has significant responsibility for understanding and adhering to all university policies and processes related to proposal submission, award acceptance, and grant reporting. This position also works closely with the Development Associate, Grants and Major Gifts in support of BAMPFA's overall institutional fundraising goals.

Salary: $85,800 - $87,500
