The Orange County Museum of Art seeks an experienced and creative Special Events Manager (SEM) to join its team at an exciting point in the museum’s evolution. OCMA is in the midst of an historic transition to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. The SEM implement OCMA’s business strategy to generate revenue and sustain the museum, both in the lead up to the opening, and beyond. Reporting to the Director of Development, the SEM oversees cultivation and fundraising events, including the annual gala and exhibition openings for members; manages private rental events; and organizes support group events and donor travel opportunities. Additionally, the SEM will help establish the new OCMA as the preeminent venue in the region for memorable experiences.
