The Cheech Research Associate (Part-Time, Temporary)

The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture of the Riverside Art Museum seeks a Research Associate for a part-time (20 hours a week), temporary (two-year), grant-funded position for the research and development of the Cheech Marin Collection and the Cheech Center Collection. Reporting to the Artistic Director of The Cheech, the Research Associate will identify, develop a timeline, and research works in the collection. The Research Associate will also develop comprehensive artist biographies and assist with the planning and implementing of exhibitions that will open to the public in 2024. Other duties include conducting interviews, researching in archives, and compiling pertinent articles, books, and other written materials.
