Volunteer & Public Programs Specialist
The Volunteer and Public Programs Specialist furthers the mission of the California Museum by planning and coordinating public programs aligned with our exhibits and themes, in collaboration with Museum staff and external partners. Volunteers are an essential part of our organization, as well as a central part of our audience. The Specialist coordinates the Museum’s volunteer corps, ensuring that the Museum has the resources necessary to deliver on its mission of education. They oversee all administrative, managerial, and performance-based aspects of the volunteer program while ensuring excellent customer service for all guests.
