2019 Secretary's Award Ceremony and Green Museums Seminar

Join CAM in San Diego for the 2nd Annual Green Museums Seminar to learn about creativity in sustainability and celebrate the two winners of the Secretary's Award for Excellence in Sustainability. The Green Museums Seminar will feature case studies and panel discussions on programmatic and operational initiatives that museums are leading to help address climate change, energy conservation, and other environmental concerns--in addition to a tour and networking reception.

The Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Sustainability award program recognizes outstanding achievements in sustainability by California museums in the areas of public education and internal operations. The competition is the joint project of the sponsors, the California Association of Museums (CAM) and the California Natural Resources Agency. We are happy to announce that the two awardees for 2019 are the Japanese Friendship Garden Society of San Diego and the Roseville Utility Exploration Center.
