How much does conference registration cost?

Conference pricing is based on your membership with CAM. Click here to download the CAM 2026 Pricing Sheet.

How do I receive member pricing?

Online Registration: If you are not seeing your discount automatically in your cart, please contact Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org.

On-site Registration: CAM staff or volunteers at the Registration Desk will confirm your membership.

Member pricing is applicable to Engage and Lead Individual Members (15% discount) and employees of Institutional Members at the Engage (15% discount) and Lead (20% discount) levels. If you believe that your institution is an Engage or Lead Institutional Member, and you are not seeing the correct member pricing on your account, please contact Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org. Review the 2026 Pricing Sheet for reference.

If you are not yet a CAM member, and you would like to join and receive member pricing for conference registration, please visit our Membership page to review benefits and join online. Once you join, it may take up to 24 hours to see member pricing reflected in your registration. Please contact Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org with questions about membership and joining CAM.

How do I register for the conference?

Online Registration is open from November 19, 2025 to December 19, 2025 (Early Bird) and December 20, 2025 to February 25, 2026 (Regular Rate). February 24, 2026 is the final day to register online. Late Pricing is from February 25 - March 13, 2026. Late Registration may or may not be possible pending capacity. Some events and experiences may be sold out.

I have registered and paid, but I can no longer attend the conference. What are my options?

CAM offers a generous transfer policy for individuals who find they can no longer attend the conference as planned. If you'd like to transfer your registration in full to another individual, please reach out to Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org. CAM is not able to divide a single registration among multiple people.

If you would like to cancel your registration without transferring it to another individual, please review our refund policies:

For cancellations greater than 60 days before the conference date, a full refund less a $25 processing fee is offered.

For cancellations between 30-59 days prior to the event, half of the registration will be refunded.

For cancellations less than 30 days before the event, no refund will be provided.

We understand that emergencies occur and situations may arise. In situations of medical and family emergencies, CAM will do our best to provide a refund less a $25 processing fee. Documentation may be requested and we kindly ask that this policy not be abused. Contact Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org to cancel or transfer your registration.

What can I add to my conference registration to make the most of my time in Los Angeles?

As of January 10th (this section will be updated as the program is finalized):

All registration options allow for the ability to add on the following activities:

  • Pre-conference tours with participating institutions (Tuesday, March 10th)
  • Pre-conference workshops (Wednesday, March 11th)
  • Free Admission to local museums
  • Evening events

We recommend registering for add-on events and workshops online in advance. Tickets may be purchased at the Registration Desk on-site at the conference, but activities often sell out online.

Please view our Conference Program page for more details about these activities.

Will the conference have virtual/hybrid components if I cannot attend?

CAM strives to offer accessible programming, but the scale and scope of this event is challenging to record or livestream. As with years past, CAM will continue to offer free Lunch & Learn webinars in the summer - conference attendees are surveyed on their most valued/favorite sessions, we invite the speakers to come back in the summer and present their session again, so their content can be more widely available. They are also recorded and cataloged in our Lunch & Learn Archive.

Where will the conference be held?

CAM 2026 will be held in Los Angeles at the OMNI Hotel. The hotel room block is now available! Reserve your room today.

How do I get into the conference?

As of October 27 (this section will be updated as the program is finalized):

All registered attendees MUST check in at the Registration Desk at the OMNI Hotel to pick up name badges and any tickets for additional program items upon arriving to the conference. You may present the QR code received in your confirmation email for easy check-in. If you are unable to locate this email, we can check you in using your name at the Registration Desk.

Registration Desk Hours will be announced as we get closer to the event.

How do I edit my existing registration?

Details on how to edit your registration will be announced soon.

How do I change the information listed on my name badge and in the registrant roster (name, professional title, affiliated organization)?

Before February 24, 2026: You can change this information by editing your CAM account online (after signing in at calmuseums.org, click your first name in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage; click the pencil icon in the upper left-hand corner of a section to edit it). Please contact Michelle Rader at admin@calmuseums.org if you need assistance.

After February 24, 2026: After the online registration deadline of February 24, 2026, name badge printing will commence, and requests for changes are not guaranteed. Staff and/or volunteers at the Registration Desk may be able to re-print your name badge if it is not accurate upon your arrival to the conference.

CAM will be including pronouns on conference name badges for those who wish to list them. In order to ensure your pronouns are listed on your name badge, please complete the optional question during conference registration. If you have already registered and you want to add or edit the pronouns that will be listed on your name badge before February 24th, use the steps listed below to edit your registration. After February 24th, the same policy listed above applies.

I am a nursing caretaker. Will there be a place for me to nurse or pump?

CAM will have a secure room available for nursing caretakers. Please inquire on-site at the Registration Desk for details.

I have a question that is not answered here. Who do I contact?

Please contact Michelle Rader, CAM's Administrative Manager, at admin@calmuseums.org if you have additional questions or if you need assistance with conference registration.
